In 2021, New Beginnings Animal Sanctuary Society was born out of a shared passion for animals and a heartfelt desire to fill a crucial gap in our community. Founded by a family of animal lovers, our organization was created to provide a sanctuary for those animals that had been left behind, often facing uncertain futures.

Our mission is all about giving extra snuggles and care to those often-forgotten farm animals, ensuring they get their fair share of cuddles and kindness. We're here to make sure that every moo, cluck, and oink is met with the love and respect that these adorable animals deserve.

Our Goal
Right now, our little corner of the world is bursting at the seams with adorable animals longing for a bit more wiggle room. All across Canada, there are so many sweethearts – from the wise, older ones to the special-needs cuties – just waiting for a place to be loved and understood.

We're on a heartwarming mission to raise $250,000 to turn our sprawling haven into a home of happiness. Imagine more tails wagging, baaa's echoing, and happy quacks! We are currently fundraising for:

- a new barn to house animals in colder weather
- portable fence panels and gates for more paddocks and accommodating the increase in need, especially during summer months for evacuations
MORE URGENTLY WE NEED YOUR HELP IN FUNDRAISING $17,000 TO FIX 68 RABBITS!
Its a HUGE undertaking at $250/rabbit for the surgery and after care. All transportation is covered but we need help in fundraising cash for the vet OR if you are a vet that works with exotic animals and would consider providing a discount - PLEASE reach out to us! DONATION RECEIPTS PROVIDED!

Welcome to the whimsical world of New Beginnings Animal Sanctuary Society, where every furry, feathered, and even the oinkiest of friends find a bundle of love and a safe snuggle spot! Our mission is all about heart – giving a cozy home to those adorable animals who haven’t found their forever families just yet.
Our current cuddle corner, nestled on a gorgeous 27 acre property in the beautiful Meadow Valley area of Summerland BC, is a paradise of pats and pampering. Our chickens cluck happily in the yard, ducks paddle about, and our sweet pigs mingle with hoppy bunnies. And let's not forget our gentle horses – they may not be ready for riding, but they adore their leisurely strolls along the scenic trails and open fields.

We have created our life dream to be able to help more animals and even humans too! Imagine a world where we welcome animals, giving them the forever homes they wag, purr, and oink for. A wonderland where they can frolic, feast, and flourish, all wrapped up in the love and care they so deserve. A place where both animals and humans can come without judgement, explore the wonder of nature and maybe find an unexpected bond. Well, you don't have to imagine here! We get to experience it every day and you can come for the experience too!
