Oatmeal

Oatmeal, like Linda, is a bottle baby goat but for much different reasons. Her mom was a first time mom, and unfortunately rejected her right away. After trying several times to bond them, we decided it was best to bring her in and look after her ourselves so she didn't get hurt. Bottle babies need to be fed at least 5 times a day, and much like a human baby, crave love and affection. Oatmeal absolutely loves humans and has acted like a big sister to Little Linda, showing her the ropes of things like climbing on things they aren't supposed to, how to sneak into the feed shed and most importantly, how to act super cute so you never get into trouble!

Little Linda

This little gal will steal your heart over and over. She is super adorable and does she ever know it! Always getting into mischief with Oatmeal but has mama Penny right there to protect her. She absolutely loves human interaction and can often be seen bouncing around excitedly when people are around.

Penelope

This super affectionate gal is one of the best mama goats despite her inability to feed her baby. Penelope was born with a blind nipple, meaning there is no hole for the milk to come out of her udders. Penelope used her instincts to show us the concern (which we were not aware of) and made sure we knew we had to bottle feed Linda.

For the first few times, mama Penny would come and give us kisses when we were feeding Linda to say thank you. Now, that Linda is starting to enjoy solids and water, she joins her little one and comes to our door and knocks using her horns and bleats for us to come feed her when she is wanting her milk! Mama Penny is always on guard to ensure Linda is safe and getting lots of love and attention.

Phoebe

Pheobe came to us with her sisters Penelope, Fernie & Gurnie and was pregnant upon arrival. With her first litter she had 4 kids! OUCH! But she has been the most incredible mom, making sure they all got enough milk to grow big and strong. What makes this gal extra special, is her incredible sweet demeanor, unconditional love not just for her kids (Billie, Finneas, Will & Harper) but she is one terrific auntie to Little Linda! Phoebe LOVES food, human interaction and playing with the kids.
